Term: 5 Weeks, 20hrs/week

Rate: $35/hr

Project 614 is seeking a qualified ELA (reading, writing and phonics) Instructor for Elementary school students entering grades K - 4. This position requires a 5-week commitment (7/5/2022 – 8/5/2022, 8:00a - 1:00p) in addition to a mandatory training session. Training date and time TBD.
Curriculum and daily lesson plans will be provided along with suggested activities that promote social emotional learning. While we desire for every student to complete the planned curriculum, we understand that each child is unique and we encourage staff to be creative in how to teach concepts and govern their classrooms.
You will be responsible for teaching a classroom of 8-12 students who will be arranged by grade level or by reading proficiency level depending on the daily schedule.

Term: 6 weeks, 25hrs/week

Rate: $15/hr

Project 614 is looking for an intern with 1-2 years of experience in administration tasks such as: answering calls and emails, scheduling appointments, organizing client files and data entry.

The intern will work closely with the Program Director to provide assistance in the administrative aspects of our Summer Reading Intervention Program (SRIP). SRIP is a literacy program focused on providing free education to historically underserved youth in West LA.

Term: 6 weeks, 5-8 hrs/week

Rate: $15/hr

Project 614 is looking for an intern with 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, social media management and creative writing.

The intern will capture, promote and design materials related to our Summer Reading Intervention Program (SRIP). A program that exists to provide literacy instruction to historically underserved youth grades K-4 near West LA.

Materials created will be used for our website, social platforms, marketing materials, donor newsletters and much more!

Term: Per-contract Basis
Rate: $500 per Grant

Project 614 is looking for a grant writer with at least 2 years of experience researching, preparing and submitting small - mid-level grants for non profit organizations.
